Are you a level 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse looking for a new role within an NHS Nursery who are part of an “Outstanding” rated Trust? Here at Jack in the Box in Slough we are looking for a Nursery Nurse to join us on a full time basis. We are a team of hard-working professionals ranging from Nursery Trainees to Degree Level practitioners and we are looking for likeminded individuals who are passionate about providing a stimulating and friendly environment for the children in our care. As level 3 Nursery Nurse you will have responsibility for a group of children whom you will provide daily care and activities as well as completing developmental reviews. We offer care and education for children, from 6 months old, up until they start school in Reception. You will be expected to maintain the standards of care and learning opportunities for the children in a safe and stimulation environment, supporting the Early Years Foundation Stage. Being owned by the NHS, our nurseries come highly recommended by families and the standard of care for all children links to the expectations that the NHS portray worldwide. We offer full day care for 51 weeks per year, from 7.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday in which you will work on a rota basis for 37.5 hours per week. • Encouraging all areas of the children’s development within Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with the appropriate activities, play opportunities and actions through imaginative play and innovative programming. • Compiling and maintaining development records on children and report to the Team Leader at agreed intervals. • Providing a stimulating, friendly and caring environment at all times. • Demonstrating good practice with regards to special needs and inclusion, working with the nursery and area SENCO as appropriate. • Being a key carer carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families. • Working with Early Years and other professional teams to continuously improve the quality of childcare and education and to learn about current developments in childcare practice and policy.
